Tip: on how I save meat that was cooked a little to long and turned out dry, is to slice it thin, put it on a tortilla shell, smother it in cheese, green onions, tomatoes (in season), and salsa. Use steak, pork or chicken. Microwave it just until the cheese melts.
Tip: Make your own frozen dinners. Make enough food for 2 or more meals at a time. Store in meal-size containers. Put on a plate, and heat in the microwave for fast lunches or dinners. Try not to heat food in plastic containers. The harmful chemicals get into the food when heated.
If you, or your family doesn't like leftovers, freeze in individual containers, label each one, save for another day when it's to hot to cook. If you have a variety of individual meals, everyone can have what they want. You save time, electricity, and no pots or pans to wash! Try not to buy ready made frozen dinners if possible, home made tastes alot better, and is a lot healthier!
